Best of Uganda Tour (6 Nights/7 Days)

Uganda Gorillas, Murchison falls National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Parks
This is a one-week safari and will take you to the best parks in Uganda viz:-Murchison Falls and Queen Elizabeth National Park.

You will see hippo, Cape buffalo, Uganda kob, elephant, giraffe, water buffalo and many birds species. You will also traverse some stunning landscape - green rolling hills, snowcapped mountains, rainforests, majestic rivers and massive lakes. To crown it all, you go tracking the elusive and rare mountain gorillas. This tour combines experiences that are difficult to get anywhere else in the world.

DAY 1: Kampala /Murchison Falls National Park
From Kampala, head north through the districts of Luwero and Masindi with their traditional farms and villages. Reach the Murchison Falls National Park.have your lunch en route and tour the top of the falls with amazing scenic viewpoints.

DAY 2: Murchison Falls National Park
Cross the Nile by ferry and set off on an early morning game drive. Your guide will help you to spot elephant, giraffe, water buffalo, Ugandan kob and lion. Butterflies are abundant. After a packed lunch you take a launch trip to the base of the majestic Murchison Falls.Here you will find abundant bird life and you will most likely see numerous wild animals on the banks.
Dinner and overnight at Paraa Lodge.

DAY 3: Murchison Falls National Park /Kibale Forest
Depart early to the Fort Portal area, home of Kibale forest. This area, nestled in the Rwenzori Mountains, is the seat of the Toro kingdom. Lunch en route to Fort Portal. Dinner and overnight at Rwenzori View Guesthouse

DAY 4: Kibale Forest/Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early morning forest walk in search of chimpanzees. See other primates, forest birds and butterflies, too. Arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park after lunch. Relax on a launch cruise up the Kizinga Channel between lakes Edward and George. Enjoy seeing wild animals on the banks and a wonderful variety of water birds, lion, hippo, Cape buffalo, Uganda kob and warthogs.
Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.

DAY 5: Bwindi (or Mgahinga)
Awake early for a sun rise game drive to see elephant and lion. After breakfast depart for the gorilla sanctuary. Packed lunch en route. Transit through the Kigezi highlands with terraced banana plantations on the steep slopes.
Dinner and overnight in Bwindi impenetrable or Mgahinga at a Lodge or Luxury Tented Camp.

DAY 6: Bwindi (or Mgahinga)
Rise early for gorilla trekking. The experienced ranger guides will brief you before the trek. Spend the day moving through dense forest in an exciting search for rare majestic mountain gorillas. Return to accommodation for dinner and overnight.

DAY 7: Kampala
Return to Kampala, after an early breakfast, through the Kigezi highlands, the "Switzerland of Africa". Lunch at Mbarara, arriving in Kampala early evening.
