Murchison
Falls National Park
Visit the largest National park in
Uganda covering 3480sq km and experience the tranquil majesty
of The Nile.
Murchison protects a chunk of untamed African Savannah bisected
by the mighty River Nile. Here the world’s longest river
explodes violently through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley
escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below.

Elephant,warthog,pangolin,giraffe,aardvark,buffalo,lion,Nile
perch, tilapia ,fish eagle,leopard,civet,hyena,uganda kob,
bush babies,chimpanzee, baboon, crocodile and hippos.
370 birds including giant shoebill, bee eater. And glorious
butterflies everywhere.
Activities:
Game viewing, nature guided walks, launch trips on the Nile
to the bottom of the falls,top of the falls viewing, sport
fishing and bird watching.
At the Murchison falls, a cruise upstream the Nile to the
falls is an unforgettable experience, with high chances of
spotting a variety of water birds including the rare shoebill
stork. On the banks, prolific wildlife including elephant,
crocodile, hippopotamus,lion,giraffe and countless birds can
be seen.
Other activities include a forest walk in the nearby Rabongo
forest to view a variety of birds and primates including chimps
and other rain forest creatures
