Semliki National Park
Situated within the remote Semliki valley, site
of the Sempaya Hot springs, Semliki is the only park of tropical
lowland forest. The forest is dense and quite flat, forest
walks scenery viewing, bird watching 400 birds, 300 butterfly,
elephant, buffalo, leopard, covet, bush baby, flying squirrels.
There are 336 tree species recorded, 63 species of mammals,
9 species of which are diurnal forest primates including chimpanzees,
blue monkey, velvet monkeys, and olive baboons, while nocturnal
primates include pottos and galagos.
There are also at least 374 species of butterflies and months.
